Clear Skies (12 July, 2017)

Clear skies for Clarinda,

Oh come and appear!

My dear would be walking

If you would be here!

Clear skies and bright sunlight

To sweeten her way,

So light in her walking

With sparrows so gay.

Fair roses will bow to her,

Shedding their dew,

Fair bushes and trees

Wave “Hi” to her, too.

The world will hum gladly

With bees and bugs’ tugs,

And everything reaching

To give her my hugs.

Clear skies for Clarinda,

Oh, come and appear!

My dear would be walking

If you would be here!
