To write you words no other eyes may see
Keeps you more precious, love, inside of me.
Though l do share some poems upon your page,
The dearest ones are for your eyes alone,
Not meant for any other minds to gauge
Or weigh; for them it is a no-go zone.
Our hearts are not connected to the crowd;
We stand apart, with happy heads unbowed.
We are the guardian spirits of self care,
Who sing into ourselves our love so rare.
It matters not to us what men don’t know;
Our starry truth, it shines above for we
Who wax with joy such happiness to show
And are content to love in privacy.
