No Mistake

Though I come knocking at your door,
You are my ship come into shore.

There may not be a Heaven’s gate,
But you are swinging in my fate.

If there was ever joyous doom
It is your footstep in my room.

If there’s one celebration true,
It is the look I get from you,

And for the icing on the cake,
Cheek to cheek is no mistake.
