Riches

Kind, thoughtful, oh, so thoughtful,
Your love warms me through.
Calm, practical, that is you.

I give something to you, too:
Love, and poems of love.
Let us read them together.

Let us feel them together;
They speak of us both.
Let us live love together.

Your hands—worth more than money;
Your lips—more than gold.
Let me hold them forever.

I hold with my heart, my mind;
I keep with my lips,
Kiss you, and have everything.

Stay close, and be you rich, too.
Stay and kiss me, dear.
I give my whole soul to you.
