Your Beauty

Oh, so much good, strong life is in your face
That joyous truth alone finds out his place.
Beauty-Of-Soul, admiring, sees what’s real
In artists’ recreations of ideal.
Comes Honesty to kneel him down before,
Integrity steps forward to adore;
Youth, delight, Loveliness, flap wing
Till earth and sky your wonderment do sing!
And I, I poet, glowing with your sight
Stand true to you and wave my proudest light,
My torch of fiery love, exulting praise,
So charged am I to cheer your happy days!
The beauty of your soul has claimed my eyes,
And your pure outward features bid me rise.
