If Anything I Write

If anything I write or do or say
Doth bring delight in any simple way;
If you are happy I’m in love with you,
And my sincerity holds tight and true;
If I deliver me in breath of song
To let you know that I am good and strong,
And straight will stay love’s path upon
That leads to you as starlight into dawn;
If my erratic youngish age, old youth,
Pure guardians are of my deep spirit’s truth;
If my whole body aches for touch of you,
Yet will not break apart in fight for you,
Then stay you glad and never feel dismay
If sometimes I look fragile on my way.
