Dream and Will

Oh, soft your body next to mine—
I dream that it shall be;
So soft, so loving, next to mine,
Come in, my dream, to me.

Don’t be a dream that’s just a dream,
But work to make you real.
For every dream that’s just a dream
Falls short of love’s ideal.

Do not fall short, don’t fall at all;
Stand up for solid fact!
Reality will heed the call
When Will decides to act!

Then dream and will as one shall deal
Your body card to me,
And I will stand with my full hand
And win reality!
