I Have You

Grown deep, so deep, this deepest love for you;
If anything’s deeper, it cannot be true.
Right in my chest, to the bottom of me,
Heart, spirit, stomach, burn love for thee.
Wholly possessed, wholly yours alone,
Giving, and sending, all joy I have known.
All joy, my soul’s light, all brightness of mind,
I shine, shine for you, in love’s temple enshrined.
You are priestess and lover, life’s glories combined,
New earth and new heaven, old dreams new-assigned.
My thought, it clasps you, my soul draws full in,
Imagination wraps you—all for real win!
I have you, I know you, I give you me, too!
Oh, wonderful wonder, this beauty of you!
