I’ll Never Lose…

I’ll never lose you, Love, for I forbid
All troub’lous times and crimes to come between.
No nights of war, no dark’ning fate, shall keep us hid
From our lit selves; no! Love’s not lean,
But thick, and full to bursting. See! It grows!
Cannot be covered by men’s selfless woes,
And shines radiant, like untouched sun,
Eclipsed a bit, but ageless, never done!
You’ll never lose me, Love, for we are free
In spirit pure and true, out-climbing walls
That rise to block, confine us, make not see
That life is love, and love-of-life is all!
We flash together in world chaotic, Dear,
And hold on tight while light-of-love burns clear!
