Euphoria

The State of Euphoria governs me true
Whenever I’m falling, falling for you.
I’m high in a daze, half-crazy my ways,
Am shackled and bound by the power of you!

The State of Euphoria taxes my air;
I think of you—suddenly, air is not there!
I weaken and sigh, wave arms as I die,
Whenever I’m falling, falling for you!

I don’t really die, but faint into dream,
Flushed with Euphoria, touched with your beam.
Oh, and it’s heavenly, up in the blue,
Whenever I’m falling, falling for you!

Clear-Wind-Of-Euphoria—that is your name;
Head of the State that keeps me so tame.
I cannot rebel; I won’t, never will;
You feed me Euphoria, weaken me still!

Oh, possess me, my darling; control me, oh, do!
Take all of my mind that is thinking of you.
Take body and soul of me, wind me and bind,
But give me Euphoria; kind, be you kind!
