Love In Rain

Clouds gray, clouds blue,
Some orange there, too;
A storm is due;
Raindrops, not few.
Comes wind a-new
With strength more true.
What shall we do?
Don’t cry boo-hoo,
But stand in bliss
Of laughing kiss
While all the world does cry!

Your face is wet;
I love it yet.
Your hair’s a mess;
Each string I bless!
Your chin’s a-drip,
More drink to sip;
Your soggy dress
I wring and press!
Ah! Now comes sun!
We steam as one
While all the world goes dry!
