Oh, you who seek…

Oh you who seek out love in its full store,
Though failure after failure you endure,
Keep searching on to where it stands before.
Your chances will grow slim and be quite poor,
Old age will try to close up every door,
You’ll seem to hear that Poe word “Nevermore,”
Romantic seas will only laugh and roar,
Spring blossoms will fly by you and ignore,
No face will smile upon you to explore,
Nor tender lips present their golden ore,
But, stumbling as you walk some lonely shore,
And thinking that you cannot long endure,
You’ll fall down at the feet of one before
Who’s seeking all the love you have in store.
