Traitor me not…

Traitor me not, oh heart my very own.
Yea, lead me not astray in realms of “like.”
I am but made of flesh and sinew, bone,
And sure to break if true love was but “like.”
These little “likes” we like us every day
Do not add up to one that’s bigger. Nay,
They move along their dim-lit liking road
While unexpressed goes Love’s lost sky-way mode.
Oh song sincere, oh words of deep warm fire,
I am thine own, as you are my desire.
I, true of heart, give voice nor false, nor wrong,
Singing lone the soul of love’s true song.
Yet should I stray seeking pure gold light
I am no traitor to my pure blind sight.
