The puppets went to grammar school
To better puppets be,
Where they learned how to feel about
Life’s sociology.
The puppets went to high school
Where puppets learn to doubt
If they should think, or should not think
What thinking’s all about.
The puppets went to college
To learn to march and yell,
And they have learned their lessons;
By George! They’ve learned them well!
Now puppets go to riots,
Burn cars, throw bricks and stones,
Still learning, like good puppets,
To break their half-broke bones.
