Now Is Your Face…

Now is your face love’s rarest book to me,
Fair covered, bright with jewels of feeling, thought,
That signs my lips to open, eyes to see,
And mind to rapture chaptered soul well wrought.
Then, it may be, thy poemed spirit’s lines
Will raise me lyrical, glad-singing words
Of love’s most sweetest stanzas, your designs,
Teaching student me sure flight of birds.
I look upon this title-page of you,
Read authoress in brow and cheeks and chin.
Know Contents but contains gold letters true
That lead this seeker pure love’s pages win.
I’ve read, I read, I cannot stop my eyes;
I’ll graduate, for you I’ll memorize!
