Queen Yuko

The throne of Yuko is a Steinway old,
Where she gives orders for the keys to stir
And make sweet music for her spirit bold.
She points to one, and sings he out so clear
She taps his brother for a ringing cheer.
Bows he and sings, and wow!, he ‘gins to soar!
Then fingers strike so many, many more,
That all her walls know Steinway rides a song!
Oh song sincere, of deep, melodious light,
Oh singing dream of youth, most fair and right
For all things joyous, beautiful and free,
Where our Queen Yuko rules sincerity!
If love and tenderness were a duet throng,
They’d weep joy’s flood to know a soul so strong!
