In A Clutch

In the day, in the day,
In the day, day, day,
I am good, I’m alive, I’m okay!
And I say in the day,
In my single-tary way,
Gone is night, oh delight, out of sight!
Now there’s clouds in the sky,
And they’re dark, but they’re high;
It might be that they won’t even rain!
If they do I’ll be blue
Till I come, come, come to you
For the touch of my day-gain again!
In the rain, in the rain,
In the rain, rain, rain,
I am good, I’m alive, I’m okay!
For I dance with my miss
In our double-tary bliss,
And each clutch is a hit without pain!
