Oh, Smiles

Oh, smiles and smiles, and smiles and smiles,
Go many, many, many miles.

Your lips are straight, they look like fate;
Your hands, not warm, not cold.
You’re breathing fast, but it won’t last;
Your eyes—too bright and bold.
You sudden twist, a box uplift,
Be-ribboned white and blue,
As all the while I get the smile
That is the “see” of you.

Oh, smiles and smiles, and smiles and smiles,
Go many, many, many miles.
