What Serves It?

Oh, what serves it to remember
The Eleventh of September
When justice is not done
And we stand still,

While Islamists, they are dancing,
Craz’ly laughing in their prancing,
And all that we should do
We doubt we will?

Let bomb on bomb be falling
On those devils so appalling;
Let blast on blast on blast
Tear them to naught.

Let vengeance char their cities—
No more mercies, no more pities—
Till there is nothing left
But their own rot.

Let bombs on bombs be pouring
On each mosque of death-adoring,
Let million Muslims die
Till laughters cease.

Let fear be their last token
Of evil worship broken,
And let them chew on sand
While we have peace!

Oh, what serves it to remember
The Eleventh of September
When justice is not done
And we stand still?

  1. Terrorism is morally wrong because it attacks the innocent. So does mass bombing. To blame all for the sins of a few is prejudice. Vengeance breeds vengeance and brings about Hell on Earth.
