Get Out!

Go on, I say, get out, get out!
All selflessness, go die!
You’ve been a part of man too long;
Time now to say goodbye!

O earth, how can you stand it,
That men should selfless be?
Man’s self, so uncommanding,
And lost in misery!

O winds, O storms, tornadoes,
If you could anger know,
Would not man’s self, abandoned,
Cause you more force to show?

This altruistic weakness,
This blank-out, thoughtless style,
This worthless self-forgetting,
Is it not bloody vile?

Stupidity and evil,
Non effort and all feel,
This turn about and rub on out
The features of the real,

Dismissing whole his very soul
From all connections true,
Till he but craves to be a slave,
Of manhood has no clue!

Go on, I say, get out! get out!
Foul selflessness, goodbye!
You’ve hexed the mind of man too long;
Time now, you witch, to die!
