Our Love-Keep

Night comes
With her dark hair flowing,

Her two stars
Even more darkly glowing.

I draw her down.

She is total darkness.

I am found.

I am you.

We draw down far
Where no dawns are.

Our touches touch, flash, crash,
To plant our places
With hands-on faces,

With your dark hair flowing
And your dark eyes knowing

As our lips, our lips, our lips
Eclipse, eclipse, eclipse
The night all night, all night-time long
Till we sleep deep in our love-keep strong.

Is day now dead?

Nay, lift up your head,
See me,
Smile a while

And go back to bed.
