More Than Profits

Before we met I loved your smile;
I heard your voice, was cheered.
I saw you walk and felt your style,
And you became endeared.

Before we met I loved your hair;
I loved your nose and eyes.
The rest of you was oh, more fair
Than rainbows in grand skies!

Before we met, one day I saw
You arguing with green activists.
Your pointing finger looked like law
As they turned round with unsigned lists.

Before we met, you boss I see;
A contract we do sign.
Now business in your company
Makes more than profits mine.
