Truth and Joy

Truth, if men hold fast
Strongly to your side,
Falsehood will be crushed
‘Neath your pride.

Like the very sun
Striking night-time out,
You’re a long homerun
Without doubt.

Catch may none but fans
Waving fair your flight;
Cheer they in the stands
For your might.

Truth, who never sins,
Leaps out of the park,
Leading Joy to win
Through the dark!
