Sheila Rides

Sheila rides her horse,
Jumps the fences pure;
Round and round the course
Bounding sure.

Sheila sits so straight,
Holding light the reins;
Quick, they’re through the gate!
One remains.

Highest of them all,
Board so brightly white;
Up! They do not fall!
What a sight!

Sheila guides her horse
Round and round the course,
Horse and rider one—
Oh, what fun!
