Life and Laughter

Life, if songs be true
Singing through the years,
Life, none comes to you
Full of tears.

Right it is as rain,
Laughing just to be,
You should joy attain
Living free.

Sunlight clasps your eyes,
Flags and flowers wave;
All things bid you rise
Sweet and brave.

Life, if Grief we see
Failing through the years,
“Laughing free” will be
All he hears.
