Hi!

I walk along with inner song,
All joyously at ease;
The springing earth around me strong
Neath swaying tops of trees.

A runner past me goes on fast,
Alive with his glad might,
As up a rise I feast my eyes
On treetops swaying light.

Now birds and trucks roar/tweet around
And front doors slam “Goodbye,”
As walking down I sense the sound
Of treetops waving “Hi!”
