Selfishly Moral

“Breathe for yourself,
See for yourself,
Think and act and be for yourself.
Selfish, selfish, selfish!

“Good and moral,
True and right,
Live for you both
Day and night!”

So Truth sang it,
‘Sang it strong;
I have heard it,
Won’t do wrong!

Live for myself,
Dream for myself,
Think and act and be for myself.
Selfish, selfish, selfish!

Highest word that
I have known:
“Selfish” with a
Moral tone!

Selflessness is
Not my way;
Ego trust my
Light of day!

I will stand with
Torch of “I”
Flaming bright
Until I die!

Spark of me is
Flying far;
Calls to me my
Shooting star!

Free and joyous,
Good and pure,
I’m for me while
I endure!

Selfish thinking
Is my soul;
Independent,
I am whole.

Reason lifts me
High and straight,
Moral rising
Won’t abate!

Selfless others,
Keep your shame;
Give to evil
Your bad name.

Treason tempts you,
You give in;
Selflessness is
All your sin.

I’ve no pity
For your crime;
Merciful is
Not sublime.

You’re as bad as
You can be;
You make your own
Misery.

Truth’s yet singing;
Hear, who can.
Take it in and
Make you man!

“Breathe for yourself,
See for yourself,
Think and act and be for yourself.
Selfish, selfish,, selfish!

“Good and moral,
True and right,
Live for you both
Day and night!”

I will stand with
Torch of “I”:
Flame of beauty
Till I die!
