Go, My Friend (a poem for a small child)

This long-legged spider is so thin,
How does he walk, I wonder.
Just one mistake a leg would break,
Or too strong shake of thunder.

I hardly feel him in my hand,
He has no weight at all.
Go, my friend, back to your web,
And make sure you don’t fall.
