Minds of my strong men, reasoning true,
Where are your strong hands, what do they do?
Where is your straight speech, logical, right?
Where is your dream-fire, souls to ignite?
Where is that proud stance, face of the dawn?
When is your “I rise” of life coming on?
Where your bold banner, when will it wave?
When will man’s power cease to be slave?
Truth’s of my great men, when will you stride?
Hungry and thirsting, I would have pride.
Knees are upon me, men bowing down;
Socialists, communists, crawling around.
Souls of my flesh, egoists pure,
How much of selflessness must I endure?!
Minds of my strong men, knowing how, why,
Show me the life-proof I will not die!
