Lana’s Here!

There is a poet very young
Whose words are sharp and clear;
The bell of art has proudly rung
To say that “Lana’s here!”

The structure of her verse is such
We’re fully taken in;
No painter has a surer touch,
And every line’s a win.

She understands true character
And names without a flaw
The essence of the soul of her
Who held not Hell in awe.

May Lana leap with Reason’s wing,
Her Icarus self to fly,
And may the bell of art out-ring
As she falls starry high.
