Praise Man’s Spirit

Praise, praise, praise the spirit of Man!
Praise, praise, praise the mind-soul of he!
Praise, praise, praise that life he began
When he chose thinking and made him be!

With his spirit alive inside him
He roamed the wide world around;
Out front, way off, and behind him,
He grasped a reality sound.

Then his spirit commanded his body,
And his body made life out of things,
And with joy he has eaten, strode lofty,
Has warmed him and swelled him with wings!

Praise, praise, praise the spirit of Man!
It is joyous and prideful, it’s true!
Give praise to its flesh, that is worldly,
And give it the purpose of you!
