Atlantis

We stood in rain
And had no gain;
In wind stood we
And rising sea,
And watched our things
Take wat’ry wings.
Now, hand in hand,
We naked stand
And see love rise
In fearless eyes.
We are an isle
Of joyful smile,
A rising hill
Of our great will.
We’ll work, and find
With ceaseless mind,
Nothing can stay
Our brighter day,
Nothing can keep
Our dreams asleep,
Nothing but we,
If we are free.
Squeeze hands and kiss;
We’re Atlantis!
