Crow Dream

Crow of my dream, I’ll sing you fair,
Caught in my dream, but happy there.
Black as the night, with shiny beak,
Flew you on down, but did not speak.
Grim were you not, with eye so mild,
Seeking my spot like friendly child.
Spread out your wings, to feel my hand,
Then you were gone, to some far land.
Crow of my dream, I sing you sweet,
Glad you did find my touch complete.
