True Resurrection

True resurrection starts
When human minds and hearts
Leave sacrificial arts
To claim their lives on earth
The highest gods of worth
That men can know.

When sacrificing dies,
The human soul will rise
In hand and tongue and eyes
Till “I” is fierce adored
The one heroic sword
That all men know.

Then independence, true,
Will run dependence through,
And lives will grow.
