Stillettos of White

(inspired by Puneeta Uchil)

Stillettos of white
On a bright-lit market floor,
Announce with tap tap tap,
“I’m going around once more!”

The aisles of goods so clean
Do smile, as if to say,
“Stillettos, tap tap tap,
And bring her feet our way!

Stillettos stop;
Eyes shine;
Thought tap, tap, taps—
“All is mine!

Tap tap tap tap
Tap tap tap!
