Worship Me

“I am the night,
I feel me in your ears;
I am the mist,
I jewel me with your tears;
I am a star,
I touch your hand and cling;
I am the dawn,
I open your mouth and sing.”

Oh thing of night and mist and star,
Oh thing right here and thing out far,
Worship me who happ’ly lives
And meaning to your being gives!

“I am the night,
You kiss me in my ears;
I am the mist,
You joy me with your tears;
I am a star,
You clasp my hand and swing;
I am the dawn,
You open my mouth and sing.”
