Open Your Mouth

Whatever the song you’d like to sing
Open your mouth and give it wing.

Push with your diaphragm,
Guide with your soul;
Passion and beauty
Wait your control.

Fill up a room with you,
Let the walls boom with you;
Spirit of happiness
Yearns to prevail.

Round, as your clear notes go,
Back, as they greet you so,
Echoes of triumph
Never shall fail.

Silence is lonely now,
Waits for you only now;
Waits for the lover of life
And of song.

Change it to glory now,
Sing out a story now!
Tale in a melody
Humanly strong.

Whatever the song you’d like to sing
Open your mouth and give it wing.
